THE ORIGAMI COLLECTION, which is my most recent addition to the line, is inspired by the simple elegance of Japanese design. These pieces are made by hand in simple clay slabs and marked with a variety of all-over textures. Then a simple "glyph" or symbol is stamped with a design or with Japanese calligraphy. The words I chose include earth, wind, fire, water, peace, joy, love and spirit. They are often colour blocked and painted with washes of earth-tone combinations to enhance their very natural, zen-like quality. Functional as well as decorative, these pieces are glazed with a satin finish. I recommend hand washing.

THE MEDITERRANEAN COLLECTION is embossed with a variety of decorative patterns, saturated with washes of color and stained to enhance these textures. Motifs including columns, scrolls, mosaic, diamonds, spirals, leaves and vines are reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture and design. The functional pieces are food safe and have a satin glaze finish. Hand washing is recommended. All pieces are available in four color combinations.
